Supporting Children's Academic Success

Project Shelter works with children, their parents, and schools to define a path that supports each child's academic success through their high school graduation. We collaborate with psychologists to administer testing, evaluate each child's academic needs, and work with schools to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that accommodate learning disabilities. Our goal is to ensure every child has the resources and support allowing them to thrive academically.

Empowering Communities with Project Shelter

The main goal of Project Shelter is to work with children who have chronic absenteeism, academic challenges, and behavioral issues. Project Shelter was founded to assist children from families facing unique challenges, aiming to keep them safe and prevent removal from their birth families into foster care.

Our job is to serve as an advocate for these kids to guarantee they receive all services necessary so they have an opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Project Shelter offers wrap-around  services necessary to guarantee the child's success including, but not limited to, visits with psychologists for neuropsych testing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, pediatric evaluations, and individualized tutoring to guarantee their academic success.
